How Take The Door Panel Off A 98 Tahoe

Remove the two 7mm bolts inside the door pull.

How take the door panel off a 98 tahoe. Pry off the door handle bezel with a flat blade screwdriver. Use your screwdriver to remove the door handle frame piece. Twist out the courtesy light socket. Disconnect all smaller trim panels by removing their screws with a phillips screwdriver and or prying them off with the trim stick.

Disconnect the switch wiring harnesses with a flat blade screwdriver. Disconnect the wiring in the switch plate. Pry out the door panel around the clips. Lift the door panel up and off.

Use a putty knife and a rag to slide it around the edge of the panel and work through the clips as you go along unclipping them. Pry up the window switch panel by hand. Remove the two 7mm bolts in the arm rest. Disconnect the speaker wiring lead.

Use a screwdriver and a rag to pry up the switch plate. Open the door where the outside rearview mirror is attached to the door is a plastic panel roughly in the shape of a triangle.
